Captured on film forever in the Canadian sub-arctic on April 7th, 1997...a once in a life time experience, comet Hale Bopp streaks overhead in the mysterious realm of the cosmos. A one sided Tamarack tree stands silhouetted by the polar sky and glimmering light of the Aurora Borealis. The tree, about 200 years old, was beaten and withered on the north side from two centuries of howling north wind gales and features prominently with the aurora. Hale Bopp, a massive chunk of prehistoric ice, never to be seen again in the breadth of a human life span, bares a resounding testament to the cosmic ages of old.
